When I receive my Product CD from Markzware, is it the latest version?

No it is not guaranteed but if you register your product you will be able to get the latest information on the updater available for your version of FlightCheck. Click here to register your product.

How do I keep my software up-to-date?

• Find out where to obtain the Upgrade
• Visit the Registration page to enter your information for future reference
• Determine which version of the product is installed on your Macintosh
• Maintain the security of your Markzware product you own

What to do before you install?

• Check for your software System Requirments
• Visit the Registration page to enter your information for future reference
• Take your time and go through the manual for instructions
• Check for Native Application compatibility

What to do to get started?

• Set your Ground Controls.
• Go through your Font Database to make sure all fonts are good and select sources.
• If you use PM2Q5 or MarkzTools5, please make sure to allocate more memory for your QuarkXPress Application.
• Register your product for future phone support.
• Visit our Support Forum for any other questions.

What if I have a problem with product CD?

• If the product CD does not mount, try on another system. If that still does not work, please contact tech support for replacement.
• If your Application Installer does not work on your system, please make sure your computer is PowerPC or higher.
• If you have a problem with registering your product directly online, please contact our Webmaster.
• If you don't know where the files are after you install, please make sure you remove all the older versions of the product and remember the location where you designate the file will be after the installation.
• If your system is set to " VIEW AS LIST" please set your system to "VIEW AS ICONS" to see the content of the CD in the right order.
• Please make sure to restart your computer with virtual memory off.

After demo mode, I enter the activation code but does not work

• Delete the older versions off of your system. - Delete the FC32, and the MarkzOne.dll file as well. - Search for a file named "FLGHTCK3.ini" and delete this file as well.
• Download the latest version here FlightCheck
• Decompress the New version.
• Double Click on the application icon - Put in your Activation code

What is the difference between a box serial# and an activation code?

The activation code is the code used to activate your product once it is installed on your sytem. The box serial number is a tracking number that is needed for registering the product which Markzware recommends you do. By registering your product you will be able to monitor updates to the product you have purchased more easily and you will also be able to access our support department more readily.
