'The Violin Speaks Passion' Acclaimed Violinist Edita Orlintye To Debut At Carnegie Hall |

SANTA ANA, CA February 19, 2008 Edita Orlintye, an award winning musician, will be making her debut performance on April 26, 2008 at 2pm in the Weill Recital Hall presented by MidAmerica Productions and sponsored by Patrick Marchese, CEO of Markzware.
Edita's career as a violinist started in her native Lithuania. At the age of 10 she won first prize at the national Lithuanian competition for young string players, and later was a prize winner in the Lithuanian Music Academy Mozart Concert. Her performances have received rave reviews throughout Europe and has been frequently featured on Lithuanian radio and television in the solo, chamber musician and orchestra repertoire. In between her American concerts she continues performing tours in Europe and recorded her solo album which was released in 2007. Currently, she is a member of the Greenwhich Symphony. Accompanying Edita will be pianist Li-Pi Hsieh. Hsieh who has studied with famous pianist Claude Frank and Peter Serkin as well as chamber music with Felix Galimir and Klaus Adam has performed both as a soloist and in chamber music groups throughout America, Canada, Europe and Asia.
