Fix Your Bad Adobe InDesign Files!
Posted in Markzware Conversion Tools, Markzware News on November 18th, 2008 by David Dilling – 6 CommentsBad or corrupt Adobe InDesign documents are becoming more and more a fact of life. Granted, thankfully there are far less than QuarkXPress had back in its earlier days, but still enough to be a headache- especially when you do not have a back-up and a months worth of work is hanging on salvaging that layout with InDesign font problems.
Whether it just crashes on open or gives you a worrisome “InDesign has encountered a problem” message such as that below, the effect is the same- HELP ME!
“InDesign.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.”
Fix your Bad Adobe InDesign Files!
Markzware, well known for its QuarkXPress fixing XTension MarkzTools and conversion tools, such as the ever-popular Q2ID (Quark to InDesign) Plugin is working on a tool that one day will hopefully make it a cinch to fix bad or not opening InDesign problem files. Till then, we have a nice service (no cure-no pay. $99) where we can attempt to fix your flaky InDesign CS documents. Just email sales@markzware.com with the document (if less than 15MB) or email us for our FTP details (if larger). Even if you do not want to pay, we would still love to see your strange InDesign files for our R&D, whether it contains an InDesign font problem or other issue.
